FLEX-5 House

About the space

In the heart of Tel Aviv, within the dense yet charming Bitzaron neighborhood, lies a long, narrow rectangular plot that presented a series of complex planning challenges from the outset.

The surrounding context is composed primarily of one- and two-story private homes. The project began with a comprehensive feasibility study, based on an existing 80 sqm apartment with an occupied residence above it. The design process required a high level of precision: expanding the ground floor and excavating an additional basement level, all while carefully preserving the structural integrity and daily life of the neighboring apartment above.

For this project, we developed a residential concept that merges modern design with fluid functionality, creating a home that adapts seamlessly to the lifestyle of its occupants. Designed for a family of five, the house emphasizes flexibility and everyday comfort through open, airy spaces, the use of sustainable materials, and the integration of smart technologies—resulting in a dynamic, contemporary home that reflects the spirit and pace of its time.
